Taco Bell Shootout

Regarding the link. That doesn't happen enough if you ask me.

Regarding the video. I can't believe I made it to 2:10 thinking something was going to happen.

It's cinéma vérité, 2A. Whatever drama there is, there is. The point was that the pawn shop owner's sentiment matched.

I find them funny specifically because they're so dry and matter of fact. Until you've done business in that environment, you don't appreciate the shucking and jiving.

Oh i get it. When the idiot with the charger said "i am going to call the police" . I wanted to punch him.

In high school i had a friend who worked a in a pawn shop. I used to go hang out. His coworker was a young woman who was ruthless.

One time 2 guys walk in with a TV. This is back in 1988-89 when a 30" tv was huge. They have a good 27" TV. Probably just shy of a grand new. They ask for 100. She offers 70. They start crying "oh come on, help us out" her next offer was 50. Same bitching, more crying. This went on for maybe 2 minutes. She got down to $10. I kept thinking when are these idiots going to say "fuck you bitch" and go down the road to the next pawn shop. After about 10 sec of silence they took the $10 and left.

Same same my friend. When I was a cop I made friends with the local pawn shop owner. I'd go in on my time and hang out just to drink coffee and watch the show. He had an old guy from the hood that had played pro ball for the Dolphins back in the 70's that just hung out and smiled until it was time to grab a guy by the scruff and carry him out. It was free entertainment and I got to see all the thieves in my beat. To this day I'll still stop off the interstate when I see a shady pawn shop.

Veer_G. Rereading my post. I didn't mean the video sucked. More that it took me that long to remember pawn shop owners/employees are the honey badgers of the "retail" world. They don't give a shit. Once I remembered that I knew what the out come would be. Brought back some memories watching my friend and his coworkers bust peoples balls. Cops would come in every tuesday to go over pawn tickets looking for stolen stuff. Pawn shop has to eat it if that is the case.
