I'll be new to the area. My moving truck should arrive to move me in within 48 hours, and I will be happy to bring a couple of rifles if you find any places to shoot. Paul Bunyan has a 600 yard range...Over on arfcom, I posted asking about ranges ,and actually got some useful information. But I'm still not a member anywhere up there. I'll have to go as a guest, or buy in if there is a match for now.

I have a rem 700 tactical in 308, but no glass at the moment. i have a leupold mark 4 5-10x40 on layaway. should be ready to go out in about a month. i'm brand new to the LR scene. i am really looking forward to getting into it. i've witnessed a few competitions at 1000 yards, and its all really interesting. i shoot pistols mostly, as well as my ar15 and k98.

nice! i shoot alot of pistols too. we do two gun shoot every friday, but its all the way up in bellevue. carbine and pistol. not sure if you want to go that far to do a little shooting. what city are you in?

I'm stationed at fort Lewis. i'm lucky enough to be one of the few soldier in the army with a mon-fri job. but that would in this instance prohibit me from participating.

Come on by and say hi at the SHWW Group.... you will likely be able to uncover many local resources there... and if you have any specific questions...... ask.... you'll get answer's worth at least as much as what you've paid for them!
Another resource you may want to consider, is the online training.... that however, you do have to pay for... nevertheless, it has a ton of info in one place.
You can also find just about everything you'd need, somewhere throughout these forums.... if you have a few hundred extra hours on your hands, to chase the rabbit, down old God forsaken threads..... like I did, when I first caught the bug.
All that said.... there is still time to save yourself..... RUN! ...and don't look back!
