TAD Gear Raptor hardshell alternatives?

I like the TAD Gear Raptor hardshell jacket, but they do not have it in XL. Are there any other jackets that are similar to this in design, features, and price range (or slightly cheaper)?

I'm looking for a durable non-insulated outer hardshell that is waterproof. I don't want something too thin/flimsy that can snag and tear easily, as I will be mostly wearing it in wooded areas. A buddy of mine has an older TAD jacket (not sure of the model) and the material they use seems to be very durable without being bulky.

I have one of these, Condor Softshell jacket. I really like it especially for the price.

I've got the Predator hardshell and it is one of the best jackets I've got. I wear it on it's own or layer it with either a Ranger hoodie or the Service Sweater - I don't think they make the Predator any more?

The downside with all TAD Gear is that you have to be quick or the batches sell out really quickly.

If you can I'd buy something as stop gap until they become available in your size again....

I've never once regretted any piece of TAD Gear clothing I've bought.

Otte gear out of New York, Very good gear, milspec, good prices and very well made. I bought the hardshell and trousers, been very impressed, totally waterproof, big sizes as well. Check them out.

Arc'Teryx makes a similar hard shell that is of fantastic quality, the Theda AR. It's not quite as tacticool as the TAD Gear piece with all the velcro for patches. I've had my Theda AR for 4+years and its holding up nicely with a good bit of use each Winter. Arc'Teryx is fairly pricey but I've had great luck with my Theda AR and would definitely buy another.

Arc'Teryx has a pretty good LEO/Mill discount if you qualify.
