Change in plans...one of those will go on the 700P - .308 - built by Jon at Area 419, and the Mark 4 will move onto the EBR. The Gen 2 Razor is off the table at $2400+. There are some demo NF NXS 5.5-22X56 Zero stop MOAR C434 at $1750. Vortex Razor HD 5-20X50 EBR-2B 52005 at $1700 with a 14% discount which works out real swell for the financial folder. I would gladly scoop one up from the PX here but I don't think anyone is going to let me make payments so that's a no go. The vortex reticle looks to be more user friendly for wind holds. Most of my time is on the archaic service rifle platform, so I always dial in my wind as needed but the concept looks interesting and something I would like to learn to apply. Mostly target shooting with 1K yds certainly on the table and I think these optics would get the job done to that range. The original budget was much lower but I figure a little more-and those prices are the best I can do-and I will get a scope that will be able to take me as far as I would want to go. A rather broad question perhaps, even reading as much as I could find on these 2 scopes, but I would appreciate any personal testimony to help me make an informed decision. Good luck and good shooting!
