I have a Harvester 30 in hand, and a 338 Ultra in jail already. I have a 224 in an MPA and an AXMC in 260 and 338LM. These are what I shoot the most. I also have a 7.5” 5.56 SBR, a 243 AR, a 300WM and a 416Wby all threaded. The two suppressors already cover most everything except the SBR, which in reality, doesn’t get shot much but it is fun to shoot. I see the SAS’s on a great sale and I really want to pick one up, but I’m having a hard time justifying it. Any thoughts?

If you don’t shoot it that much and/or it is just a fun bang stick then it probably doesn’t really matter what you put on there as long as it meets your cost criteria....most importantly you need to make sure it is rated for the short barrel. I have several different brands of suppressors and SAS is one of them. No issues.

I have an SAS Reaper and while I really like it, it's probably not ideal for a 7.5" .223. I'd lean towards something stainless versus titanium for SBR use.

I have 3 SAS cans - bought them when MHSA had them on sale. They work great - no complaints. I also have a Rugged Surge - great product too.

I love my SAS and run it on my pistol build. Called MHS and they said it will run all day on a 10.5” 5.56 Barrel. I’d try to talk you into switching to a 10.5” barrel before out of another SAS can. ??‍♂️
