Need some therapy and figured this was the place to come.

$600 shipped with coupon code. Any reason not to? Id like to shoot factory ammo. This would be used more for still hunting deer with a suppressor.

24" barrel. Heavy varmint contour. Not something I'd want to carry while still-hunting deer. A heavy rifle is bad enough when strapped to a pack while hiking. Hours of it hanging on your arms as you skulk through the wood would suck.

Bought the same BA earlier this year in 6CM and dropped it in a KRG Bravo from their Memorial Day Blem sale. Under $800 for the combo. Have been impressed with the quality. It’s a no brainer when Brownells has them on sale.

Pretty heavy for a hunting rifle, but if you’re not trekking out west, you’ll be fine.

How do you think The Tikka will handle 14oz suppressor?
Well the t3x lights have a 22.4"(if you dont buy the 300 win mag or the 7mm mag those are 24.3" long and 6 1/2 lbs starting weight) barrel so add the length of your suppressor , so lets say ur tikka is 5.8lbs from factory, so add ur 14oz suppressor on the end ur at about 6.7lbs now. add rings u at 7lbs.. Add a scope of your choice.. lets say your hunting scope weights about 20oz so ur now at 8.5lbs. add a few oz for ammo in the gun + a sling ur around 9lbs... i mean that is a pretty light gun still with all the shit added on it lol

If it’s just a deer gun with a little range work added in, I’d consider that grendel as well, but, that being said, I sure do love my creed and it does really well on deer. I have yet to hear a bad thing about those BA’s, so whatever your route, you’ll be good go go

Im more concerned with the barrel profile supporting all the weight out front

14oz is plenty light. Should be fine.
Here's some comparison pics with cans and barre lengths. All 26" except for the Tan AI which is 24" and idk what length the rpr is

I'm a NF fan. Seem to be the most reliable scopes out there.

Really like the DT and AI. The DT is nicer to carry and use around vehicles though.
There are some deals on DTs, and AIATs and AXs in the for sale section. Best prices I've seen ever.

Unfortunately im canadian :(. exporting that is a nightmare. i have a cadex right now and is an extremely good gun. id say its on par with accuracy international.

    Sorry, 380 bucks:
Great price. For some reason the Grendel doesn't appeal to me as much. Weight is not a huge concern, I guess what I want is a long range gun I can hunt with. Yes, staying under 10lbs would be nice but its not going to stop me from buying a nice rifle.

    What is your total weight?
