If I recall there was a discussion about the TBA rifles vs those built by GAP. It was stated that, while fine rifle, thr TBA rifles were not as “clone correct” as the GAP rifles. So my question is, what exactly is not as “clone correct” on the TBA rifles as compared to the GAP rifles?

Just from limited personal experience, TBA will go 95-98% full spec on a clone build in terms of correct details, and then do something that makes totally opposite sense, such as stamping “U.S.” on a G or later prefix action for an M40A1 build, or simply stamping their logo on a clone build. 🤷🏻‍♂️

But this is based on my limited observations.

From looking at my A1 I found the same things. I bought it second hand but it appears to be a TBA. It’s also not black oxide. Shoots awesome and looks the same but it’s the details that get ya.
