Telson optics

Telson is based in Canada. A couple of guys behind it are shooters, so the have a pretty decent grasp on the applications, etc. I helped them with the reticles a bit, so I know them pretty well.

The 3-18x50 and 5-32x56 are made in Japan by JOL. I have the 3-18x here that I am testing and I like it. It seems to be a somewhat improved version of the core 3-18x50 that was behind the Brownells MPO scope. Image quality looks to be a bit better and turrets look to be a bit better. I discussed it in the mid-range 50mm scope overview I recently did.

I expect to be looking at other scopes from them through the year. We'll see how they do. I have seen prototype versions of most of them, but I prefer to look at the production models for a full review. The 5-25x56 definitely looked promising as far as higher end Chinese scopes go, but there is a lot of competition there. 2.5-15x44 is an SFP design aimed at hunters more than anything, I think.

For their Japanese scopes, the 5-32x56 should be a very strong competitor near the $2k mark, which is, again, tough territory but it looks like a nice scope.

The 3-18x50 I have is currently sitting on a 6ARC MiniFix and I have quite a few trigger pulls behind it. It is a very well rounded design.
