Gunsmithing Terry cross sentenial stock

Would any one who owns one of these lend it for a pattern to Joe Russo for a wooden stock build? It would not be harmed in any way and shippment would be covered both ways? It would be shipped to joe and be back in a week! Any help would be great, only way I'll ever afford it is in wood.

You need to talk to Terry at KMW to make sure he is OK with someone copying his work....

Already emailed him waiting on his reply. Just trying to find someone willing to help first. I'll be surpised, but for a low budget savage build this would be awesome. I'm hoping it can happen? Of course I would do a full pic spread of finished rig.

Biggest problem is that Terry custom makes the bottom metal to his spec for the magazine area. If you look at the stock you can see that another type of bottom metal will look horribly out of place on this design. As I believe Terry is keeping plenty busy making bottom metal for his stocks and builds, it may be unlikely to get the bottom metal for a wooden stock even if he is ok with someone copying it.

Will be curious to see what he thinks

This is something I'm hoping to do with Joe russo who makes laminated stock. I thought this could be a cool stock for a savage build? I would only move forward with terrys aprovale.

Ran accross this thread and wanted to clear the air so to speak...

Bubb contacted me and wanted me to make a laminated version of Terry's Sentinal stock.

I told him that I would only do it if Terry approves.

I have the utmost respect for Terry and his business.

I spoke to Terry on the phone and he approved the project without reservation, but I elected not to do the project.

Terry and I are going to speak in a few months and may work on a similar project.

Terry didn't have a problem with me making it, I just thought that I may want to make a few changes that would take more time to complete. I have a pretty full plate at the moment..
Once I complete some of the projects I have started, I could then give it my full attention.

My offer still stands to let you use my stock to duplicate if you need. Let me know when the time is right.
