Tested out my new gun (SPS) on my new range.

I purchased a Remington 700 sps tac aac-sd. Very happy with the gun and the performance. Installed a Timney trigger and ordered an AX AICS but was told 8 month wait. Currently using Fed premium gold metal match 168gr. Transferred my Huskemaw scope from another gun and am very happy with it.

I made a target setup with ar520 targets. 12in square, 6in circle and a 4in circle.

I cut a path with a dozer, trimmed some trees and can shoot out to about 800 yards. I shot from 725yrds out this weekend. It is the furthest i have attempted to shoot. Previous was 500yrds at Top-Gun in Leonard, Tx.

I am shooting off of the bed of my truck right now but am going to build some kind of platform and cover it in astro turf of something similar. My truck is at the end of the path cut by the dozer.

Where'd you order the AX chassis?

I think eurooptic and mile high have them in stock now..

I ordered the chassis through a local dealer, he didnt have one in stock. I am talking with him to see if we can get it through a stocking vendor.

Thanks for the kind words. I am very fortunate to have a place to do this and my family (Grandparents)for allowing me to set this up and spend my spare time out there.
