The wind is unreal. I left before the final scores for the day were posted, but the scores I saw were very low. The wind is 20-25 MPH from the SSE switching back and forth. As I have been telling a few people, it's going to get a whole lot worse before it goes really bad.

From a quick glance at the final tally for day one, I don't think anyone posted a High Master level score. From those High Masters that were in attendance, it really tells you something about just how wicked and fickle the wind was. As a Master, I think I was within striking distance of dead last in class. But hey, there's always tomorrow.

It was the worst conditions I ever shot in to date, it was brutal saturday. Good meeting and shooting with you guys, very well run match with TOP class shooters. Already looking forward to going back.

Conditions were better on Sunday but it was a great match. Joe shot absolutely great; I'm very proud of him.

Also, Sunday morning, I learned that my friend Greg Rodriguez was shot and killed in Montana a few days prior. I was shocked.

Thanks Guys!
But the wind Gods were with me.. I swear every time I layed down to shoot, so did the wind.
And to top it off my windage zero was at least 1 moa off. I was holding left some of the time, I think I will leave it there.
Learned alot this weekend.
