Hello all,

Me and a couple buddies are planning to head to Texas in a couple weeks for a hog hunting trip. We will be meeting with a friend who lives in the Houston area and hunt for a day or two in Fort Bend county.

Suggestions for other places we could go for some good hunting, or groups we could go with? We want to make sure this is a successful trip.

Problem with that is most of the land in TX is privatly owned, and most of those folks either charge or arn't interested. Good luck and let us know if you find out anything.

Thanks for the heads up.

We plan on spending a day or two at a friends private land in Fort Bend, and then a day or two at a paid ranch such as the Langley ranch to make sure we at least get some success.

Unfortunatly the Langley ranch is booked solid for months so we are looking for another guide/ranch to go with, so if anybody has some recommendations it is appreciated. We will have another day or two free also, so we were looking for other public areas to check out as well.
