Texas Weapon Systems Dog Leg Scope Rail (gen 2)

Would it be worth getting one of these for my AK? I want to attach a low power acog and I think this would be perfect! But will it hold zero is my question? Have any of you ever used it?

Been wondering the same thing. If they hold zero I would like to pick one up.

As far as why? Why not? My eyes are not what they used to be. No one said anything about a long-range scope, and a 3-5MOA gun has far more need for an optic than a shotgun would. OP mentioned an ACOG, an Aimpoint would be nice as well.

I think a 2 or 3x acog would be awesome on an ak. An ak is a rifle after all, not a submachine gun...

the ak74 s ive tested with them held zero fine. ak47 i dont see as much use for a simple red dot works fine.

They hold zero just fine. I have an ACOG on my AK74 and a Leupold MR/T on my AK47. It's a good bit of kit.
