I went here : http://www.chirienterprise.com/Other/order_sample.html and got the free sample.
so i was a little bored yesterday when i got off work, seeing as phylodog has my rifle's barreld action, i am unable to shoot. but now that my new B&C medalist is here i can fuck around with it till i get my action back. I decided that i don't like the slick feel of the b&c stock so i thought i would texture it. about a week ago i went to the above site and got my free sample, it arrived yesterday. basic prep work was clean stock so it could be effectively masked off, masked off the area i wanted to texture, sanded said area down (i used a real fine sand paper as i didn't want to CHEW through the stock.) then i cleaned the area with rubbinn alcohol and put this stuff on. it is the "what-a-liner" it has a gritty feel of about 80 grit sandpaper. the color i ordered was black and for those of us that don't want to paint the area we just textured, the color actually darkened as it dried. so here are some pics
total cost of all the work was for sandpaper, tape, and alcohol, as i said the texturing sample was FREE
