Randy (Hateca) doesn't get to spend much time here right now, but he is still building some kick ass rifles when his time permits. I just picked mine up and can't wait to get it to the range. His bottom metal is pretty slick with the Tac Latch. This is the first rifle I have ever had built/bought with the sole intention of reloading for, and it's my first attempt at reloading lol. Hopefully I can get it to the range in the next few days and work something up with 142 smk's, 140 smk's, and 139 Scenars, and see what it likes. Bartlein 8.5" twist, 24" from the lug, M24/40 contour. Action trued, bedded. Randy's bottom metal. Manner's T2A stock, with a NF 3.5-15 F1 topping it off.

Very classy build. Like the look and from what I have seen here, it will shoot no doubt. Enjoy it, and reloading is easy and gives your rifle the most benefit. Make sure to post a range report.

Barrel indicates 260 Rem Match. Does that mean the chamber is set up for a specific bullet type or is it a tight chamber? Just wondering since you mentioned this rifle was built with the intent of reloading. Thanks.

I believe it is just a tight chamber. The last I talked to him about it, he said he uses a proprietary reamer.

I've always been interested in checking out Pala, but never really had anything to take out their. I'll have to check into it more now

Nice Looking rifle, Have you had a chance to shoot it yet? I just talked to Randy and going to drop off some components and have him put together a rifle for my, my first long rifle and first custom build as well... Cant wait to get my stock in and the rifle complete. Happy shooting.
