It must be really difficult and an emotional drain to spend so many years preparing for doomsday yet the sun rises and the world continues each and every day.
The "Poor" comment struck a nerve all the way back to 2013 when our Dollar was supposed to go bankrupt and everyone was going to be panning for gold again.....

Anyone with a cell phone, email account, credit cards, etc and posts on ANY social media gives the .gov (or anyone else) all the info they need. No one is invisible if they live a modern life. Heck I first learned about being prepared as a Boy Scout, lived through a major flood as a kid and the Marines reinforced planning for all eventualities. None of those scan-demic shortages to include ammo/guns (that some here are whinning about like little bitches) have affected me at all. I never made comments worrying about the collapse of the dollar nor needing to pan for gold. Though I have (correctly) pointed out that you can't eat gold during a collapse and that people aren't going to trade you their last can of beans for a Krugerrand.

I simply pointed out that covid or not, if the .gov doesn't renew your lease on land they own you are toast. They were operating under short term leases that don't allow for proper business planning nor the ability to secure credit if needed. Bank isn't going to loan money if you might be out of business in a year.
From what I have read, nationwide it's something like 60% of small businesses that are gone for good.

I understand there is mucho knowledge on shooting and other subjects here (I originally joined for the NVG stuff) and I bow to that expertise but that doesn't bestow some special protection in general chit-chat.
