Some great looking toys here! I'm new to this site, but I can already see that this place is going to cost me money. Here's 1 of mine. 223 wylde from RRA w/ 20" bull barrel. Shoots about .7 moa with my initial load development, but I'm sure I can tighten that up. Scope is a Viper PST Gen 2 5-25x, mount is a Vortex precision.

I've made a few changes to my rifle since it was last posted here, I have it pretty well set up currently but I may switch the 14.5" pinned barrel out for a 13.7" setup. I'll probably buy a MARS lower to match the upper at some point and use the Areo for another project too.

Which M-lok grip panel is that on your handguard?

Aero Precision M4E1 receiver set, with Vltor A5 recoil system, DHD small parts, LaRue MBT 2-S trigger, BCM 3B charging handle, MSTN/Young Mfg/JP DLC coated bolt carrier group, and 13" Geissele Mk 8 rail.

At 6.5 LB, this package is light enough to train hard with all day long, but sufficiently robust to hold up to the
extended schedule of a high round count work up.

mostly curious about what bolt/carrier combo.
And how is the accuracy?

Im leaning towards 6.5” barrel just for grins (make OAL same as my other upper).

It is a CMMG bolt and barrel kit, drops into a standard receiver. The barrel is made with 1:12 twist for 22lr and and interfaces with the 22lr drop in bolt in such a way that eliminates the chamber adapter you find on the usual 22 conversions. The accuracy is great for a 4.5” barrel. I have only shot it with a red dot and never for groups but i can consistently hit a pie plate at a hundred yards with it.

thats the kind of set-up I want. No adapter, using a regular AR upper.

i will look a little deeper into barrel length and able to stay subsonic.
i have a lot of .22 on hand thats just at 1050 out of a 16”, so was thinking/hoping that 6.5” would bleed enough speed to make it stay subsonic.

Guess I can just spend the $ and find out!! ?

Yes sir, requires a left handed BCG since it ejects out the opposite side. The Young Manufacturing BCG is a real beauty.

This is my 223 Wylde build. To be honest I haven’t had the best results with Ballistic Advantage barrels, however this one shoots. Must be a Monday barrel. 77gr Nosler Custom Competition with 24.5gr Varget 205M-AR Primers and Winchester cases.

It's an Aero builder kit with a Ballistic Advantage 18-inch SPR fluted barrel. Geiselle SD-E trigger and Vortex PST Gen II 3-15x. Furthest I've gone is 600 yards prone.
