I maybe went a little overboard.

Ares Armor 80% 7075 billet lower, Geissele SSA, Magpul CTR milspec, BAD ambi selector, BCM stripped upper, BCM 13″ KMR, Noveske Infidel 13.7″ barrel, B.E. Meyers 249F, Aimpoint T1 2 MOA, ADM T1 mount

The Noveske barrel with the 249F makes it a legal 16.1" when pinned and welded and comes in right at 7 pounds. Rattlecan job was done in the garage with a different upper.

This is my "Mule" anytime I test parts, I end up doing it on this one. weather it's a trigger, or BCG etc... this rifle has had a ton of parts through it. I don't have a current pic. I shot it out to 350 yards with a scope and bipod, but that was a long time ago.
Right now it has the Luth AR stock, and a 4x32 ACOG (green chevron) with RMR.
-Mega lower
-BCM upper
-no clue on rail
-223 wylde 1/8 16'' barrel
-Trigger Tech flat 3.5# trigger.

8.5'' Pistol build. nothing special about this. pretty generic. Picked up the palmetto upper and rail from a friend. added an 8.5'' barrel and kak blast can (i think that's what they call em)
Fun to shoot, makes a ton of noise and shoots fireballs.

Lightweight 10.5'' 223 build. Pistol 5 pounds 4 ounces in picture, about 2.5 ounces of stuff missing on it.
-Rebel lower
-Bootleg upper
-SLR 9.5'' Rail
-Radian charging handle and safety
-Trigger Tech 3.5# curved trigger
-Battle Arms titanium pins
Gas block is on the way- Battle Arms titanium. It weighs about .6oz
Muzzle device also on the way- Q Cherry bomb. weighs about 2 oz.
Total weight on this will be under 5.5 pounds with MRO on SLR mount. Cant wait to shoot it!

Edit to add finished pic. Gas block and cherry bomb landed the other day. I am very happy with this thing.

An 18" fluted Bartlein with .223 Wylde chamber by Craddock Precision, left bead blasted, forms the centerpiece of this rifle. I've never seen finer work, myself! BAD 556-LW receiver set and 13" rail, all done in tungsten Cerakote by Shapeshifter Finishing. The usual MSTN N/M bolt carrier group, with fitted bolt at minimum chamber specs, all done in Ionbond DLC down to the gas rings. Can't go wrong with a PRI Gas Buster! This rifle has just about every part V Seven offers in Titanium, some you can see, and some you cannot. Vltor A5 recoil system and SF MB556 finish out either end.

@Lawless

Did they discontinue the HD 1-4? Only see a 1-6 HD on site.
Yeah, it stopped production once the 1-6 was introduced and was removed altogether a while ago.

They actually have a trade in 1-4 in the sample list for 500 I believe.

They have a trade in 1-6 there too. The reticle in the 1-6 is different.

I used to have one of the early 1-4s and it was a great little optic (relatively speaking). I haven't looked at the 1-6 but SWFA makes good glass.
I drive by there everyday when I take my kids to school.

This is my Palmetto State Armory AR-15. RRA 2 State trigger and a Ballistic Advantage 18" 5.56 SPR barrel with OPS 12. It shoots great out to 550 yards but i havent had the chance to take it any further. Right now I have a Vortex Crossfire 2 4-12x44 on top that works well.

My 3-gun rifle is mostly Aero Precision parts with Wylde 16” mid-length gas, Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6, Velocity flat single stage trigger, JP captured spring, Magpul plastic, flash hider rather than comp. Simple and reliable, not too heavy, expensive or fussy. I’ve had fancier ARs with lighter parts, adjustable gas, etc. but this is the one to keep.

No issues with Aero’s quality control, had several and all quite good FWIW.

For years I have been convincing myself that my bolt guns got the job done and I really didn't need an AR, but the past few months the urge has gotten to be too much. So, after looking at factory offerings, I decided to build one myself and finally got all the parts together. Nothing fancy, just a basic rifle.

Chrome lined 1/2x28. It shoots like a dream anything from 52grs up to 77grs. I don't get to punch paper as much as id like so i cant say what it prefers but i've taken a liking to 75 hpbt over imr 4064 around 2875fps. That really seems to fight the wind up here and coyotes dont like it. The stock is nice but i think i may swap out a magpul prs for looks.
