Is it? Is our Democracy about to collapse? Are we about to loose the Democratic principle that majority rules, first, last, always. Don’t we all wish to give thanks and praise to the holy city of Los Angeles and all its angelic citizens who will rule and reign over us when true democracy is reestablished in our “democracy.”

Does ANYONE remember that we live in a Constitutional Republic??????

Correct me if I am wrong, but the last true “democracy,” Greece was conquered by and assimilated into the Roman Empire in 146BC. If the lunkheads in Washington DC have their way, Los Angeles will be our new Rome. Unfortunately, that berg of idiocy is far below the moral and ethical standards of Pre Christian Rome. (Which in itself left a lot to be desired)

Slightly related: What's the American equivalent to the word democracy as used in the statement "it's bad for democracy"... Is the American equivalent word "republicanism", as in "it's bad for republicanism"?

I ask because even many Repubs use the word "democracy" when they should use "republic", but it dawned on me that when "democracy" is used as above, the word "republic" doesn't work.

In Greece was most certainly not a democracy. It was only a democracy for its elite. Greece was a massive slave society and built on slavery. They had no true democracy, because only a fraction of the population got to actually vote and express opinions of things. Those were the rich, the elite, the slave owners, and the privileged (free) citizens.

But for at least 20 years, it’s been an intentional push by the left in this country to push democracy because they want the mob to vote in socialism. And once they get it, you can’t vote your way out of it.

It’s a mixed bag with me. The women I am around, especially my Brenda think and vote smart. So a plus for letting them vote. However, when it brings people like Hillary clinton and kamala harris into positions of power, its a serious vote for keeping anything without a Y chromosome out of anyplace or room that does not have a stove in it.

Oh, most of the women I am around tend to be long time veterans of a certain building with a big CROSS out front. Without getting too much in Dutch with the powers that be around here, that building with a CROSS out front does tend to bring reasonable thoughts to one’s brain. (Whether one believes in resurrection or not.)

It needs to be RESTORED.

"The Progressive Amendments" kicked out massive constitutional protections against Federal abuse, and they must be restored.

10th Amendment
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

MUST BE FULLY ENFORCED and all Federal Programs and agencies not specifically allowed by the Constitution eliminated.

16th Amendment of the Constitution
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.

MUST BE REPEALED. Income tax is slavery, full stop. If the revenue of the Federal Government isn't directly tied to the economy and it isn't in their interest to maximize it we get NAFTA and all sorts of injurious policies that favor our competitors and discourage investment at home. If the Federal government is able to take by force whatever they want from the sweat of your brow, we don't have a Republic, but a kleptocracy. They waste trillions so they can steal millions. THIS is the money that needs to be taken out of Washington. If they didn't have this power no one would send them so much money for elections, because it wouldn't matter. They wouldn't matter (as designed).


17th Amendment
1: The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. MUST BE REPEALED and State Congresses must be restored in their power to elect Senators. This was a MASSIVE check on Federal Power that we totally eliminated, and it is why DC is a black hole where nothing escapes, because they are no beholden to the duly elected congresses of the states. Honestly, this one is almost worse than income tax, because it literally destroyed federalism, and put all the power in DC. This one is absolutely critical. Spending is out of control and our budget is busted because Senators don't answer to their own states. This is where "democracy" is proven the pure poison that it is. "Democracy" is what's wrong with the Republic, and it starts with the direct election of Senators. Our state governments are little more than rump muni governments without the power to choose who represents them in the Senate.

We MUST RESTORE our constitution.
