The importance of local level activism: Federal judge STRIKES DOWN New Jersey AR-15 ban in verdict to FPC lawsuit. AR-15s legal in NJ again.

    Earlier in the year, the Firearms Policy Coalition, another gun rights organization just as stalwart and no-nonsense as Gun Owners of America, had filed a lawsuit challenging the State of New Jersey's semiautomatic rifle ban. Today, federal judge Peter G. Sheridan struck down NJ's semiauto rifle ban as unconstitutional and immoral, citing the FPC's well prepared package of evidence and arguments providing cold hard facts that not only is the AR-15 rifle the MOST commonly owned sporting, defense, and general utility rifle in the United States, but the rate of criminals using this type of rifle for nefarious activities is incredibly low. The subject of the lawsuit, the state government of New Jersey had no choice but to accept the verdict, although a deal allowed the state of NJ to keep the 10 round magazine limit in effect. The statewide FOID (Firearms Owners Identification) card requirement for New Jersey gun owners is still in effect.

    It is a partial step, but nonetheless a step forward in the right direction. GOA and FPC members and their activism are the vanguard in this breaking ruling today, in a time when all of our institutions are under attack at the national and global level. This case illustrates just HOW IMPORTANT base level political activism is. Securing the local and community level and making them impenetrable to unwanted outside meddling is just as important as securing a Patriot presidency and national legislative systems.

    BE ACTIVE LOCALLY. ENCOURAGE ALL TO VOTE IN LOCAL POLLS AND PETITIONS.

    When is an organization going to go after all of these 10 round magazine restriction laws?

    @jpjulian and @wvfarrier as well:
    The FPC has vowed to follow this case and strike back again if they try to use their "local ordinances" clauses to try to disrupt the proceedings. And NJ's board filled with antis will try. Like NY State though, NJ is run by big city libtards who are practically isolated in their urban conglomerates around the New York City area, but hold 90% of the political power, while the inner mid and downstate areas are full of rural hunting preserves and follows centuries of sportsman culture, just like upstate NY. That is why it is imperative for local folks to take part actively in as many community level polls as possible and get people like JD Vance into the Senate. JD Vance is a prime example of a person who got started by strong local support, with an unwavering ideological connection to his community culture and traditions, and is now in a position to give antigunners nationwide something to sweat about into the future. The more the Dems are badmouthing him, the more I am confident that MAGA 2024 has picked the right VP candidate. Keep on truckin'.
