I just read Ben Affleck is going to be the new "Dark Knight". Wow, I thought they could do better than that?

I hope that's not correct. Without Christian Bale, it's not going to have any ties to something "real" as far as movies go. They are going to spend a good chunk of the movie explaining his origin instead of developing the story from the get go. It'd be like having a different Ironman in the avengers.
Sorry, Ben Affleck bombed movies before and only came across as "tough" in The Town. I see a Clooney/Kilmer performance.

Most comic book movies have no real connection to the comic because the director and actors have no idea what the real comic is about. It all about hollywoodland hype.

Haha, yea I can see it now... Henry Cavile as Superman... Ben Affleck as Batman... Matt Damon as Robin... also starring Jay as the Joker, "Snootchies boochies, bitches!" AND as the Penguin Silent Bob, ".......................!"
Add in the POW, BANG!, ZAP captions and it will be a classic.
