your usually getting an additional 15.00 for a properly skinned, fleshed and stretched fur (which if you get good will equal out to about 30.00 an hour) my dad skinned hundreds when I was a kid, literally some of my first memories, I continued to follow up until last year, we've gotten into filming fairly hard and by the time your day is up, you have to decide, skin a dog, or pull the footage, organize it, back it up, not enough time to do both ... Last year one of my best furs that went to the market sold for 55.00 on the carcass if I would of skinned it I'm sure it would of went over 70.00 because of the size... I keep my best coyotes of the season, I've got about four massive fetishes, Guns, equipment, optics, and fur
We started off with the mindset to do so, then when we upgraded our film equipment, we are leaning towards a different route.
