The Rolling Log Mousetrap

Been a fan of that type of trap for years. One of the recommendations I've seen is to use a larger diameter cylinder so that the mice are also encouraged to reach for it from the side of the bucket. In the video you could see how many went to the side in an attempt to access the bait.

The trap is great, and super simple. What I find amazing- or maybe just surprising- is this guy has enough of a mouse problem that he has a segment on his youtube channel called "Mousetrap Monday." But then again, with the monetization of youtube, maybe his "problem" isn't such a problem after all...

Wiped out a whole generation in a night.

You could make some $$$ with that selling the mouse for snake food. Why waste them?

What if I use water melon??

I'm betting these would snare you...

Our garage cats do the job of mouse hunting just fine.

I know I'm gonna sound like a sadist here, but curious as how long does it take for the mice to drown. I've seen mice and rats swim and they swim for a LONG time.

Depends on whether or not they make it to the peanut butter.

If they eat first and don't wait a half hour before swimming they will get cramps and drown.

That's what momma said.
