1952 edition, watched this tonight in memory of My Old Man. He chased Big Game around the world when it was truly an adventure and the movie seemed fitting.

Excellent film, the other safari related / Hemingway novel based film, is the Macomber Affair (1947)….. actually I consider it superior (also stars Gregory Peck, coincidentally)
