Got my Answer and Compromise in hand ... and *in hand* is the key point.

At first, I thought, 'They seem small' but then put them in my hand ... and now understand what all the fuss is about - these are skinnier than all of the other bags I have ... and they fit my hand. I can grip the bag properly, which means I can control it. I can grip the rifle properly - ditto.

Sounds silly to even say it now, but I just thought that bags that you couldn't even wrap your hand around properly 'must be how it's done'. Having either the Answer or the Compromise in hand was both a lightbulb moment, and made me feel a bit silly for previously wrestling with other overly-wide bags.

For bigger or taller shooters with higher positions mostly, but we've found some butt stocks that demand a taller bag.
Also for downhill or when your bipod can go no lower.

Seeing a ton of PayPal paranoia lately in other threads. No problem.

Just want to make it clear that I can work with you in other ways to get this bag under your rifle to tighten up your shooting, if necessary.

For the record - PayPal has been very easy to work with and their shipping option keeps you from paying shipping and protects us both from non-delivery. Received my order for the bundle today. 3 days to arrive in Fort Worth.

I'm very impressed with the bags. They are more narrow and possibly contain more fill than the bags that I have from another popular brand. This makes it much easier for me to keep the bag both firm and in the correct position without requiring a death grip on the bag. This is especially important for me as I have arthritis in my left thumb.

The grandè bag provides me with a very good natural point of aim at shorter distances and a high bipod position. Surprisingly there is a 16 MRAD elevation increase between the grandè bag and my other tall bag when viewing targets. When laid flat, my other tall bag is 0.25" taller and 1" wider than the grandè. The grandè simply does not compress as much since it is more narrow and appears to contain more fill.

I'm very glad that I made the switch.
