This is a beautiful view. Where is this place?I went spring bear hunting yesterday and struck out on whacking a bear, but I don't feel like I missed out completely... Especially with the views that I was privy to while I was up in the mountains. This is up near Cascade, Idaho, and the views, they sure don't suck.
Anyone else want to share a snap of their favorite view while out in the wild?

Shooting long distance gophers in the snow off the front porch.
Front porch cause I did this at a shoot mid March. Crutches and snowdon’t mix... grrrrrrr

Went on a ride with a buddy to the northeast corner of NYS. Theres some beautiful country in this state.....just wish we could get rid of the asshole politicians....

This lady walked up to just a few feet of my home-office window while I was on a conference call for work yesterday. Working from home has it's advantages!

Spent one five week session during the summer of 1970 at Knight Science Camp in the Snow Range taking two aquatic biology classes there prior to a year at grad school in Laramie. Had fun their backpacking, fishing, and dirt biking. Returned there a few years later with Louize we celebrated 47 years together june 9th!

At work this morning for a killer sunrise and Longs Peak looking majestic. This new iPhone camera ain’t too bad.
I’m on loan from the military to a large University in my AO, running a military science program. Have to be honest, the view does not suck. Campus life is grand.
From my elk hunt this year in west central Idaho. Struck out on the elk but scored in the views.
Sometimes....the view sucks. Brought to you buy the expert forest managers at the U.S.D.A.
No pics to share, however I've had awesome hunts where I didn't bag anything either. Like that ole saying, "a bad day fishing...
