As for the episode last night, I was reflecting on all the drama today. Honestly, if this were a real scenario, the main obstacle would be the human dynamic of having to work together with strangers to survive. I don't see these slow moving walkers as a main threat after the first few weeks. Like in the show they seem to be petering out and will eventually succumb to lack of whatever it is that sustains their current animated state. It's fun to watch the zombie killing, but it gets old eventually too. If you were in that situation for real, it's the finding food, menial tasks, burning bodies, sanitation, and all the other survival shit that would take up 99% of your time and having to work with people you don't know on top of it. Talk about stressful.
Anyway, I think the drama is an important aspect of an apocalypse scenario. It's what I fear the most of in that context, my fellow man. </div></div>
Sounds about right, and what i gather is going on now, is that they have to deal with a band of rouges who are pillaging/whacking zombies/probably killing and raping survivors as they work their way across the country.
And why the hell hasn't daryl raided a sporting goods store for more crossbow bolts?
