So I don't know how long it's been since you have been in but when a soldier uses leave due come October 1st it is actually taken pretty seriously and the commander is reviewed for why soldiers are losing leave especially if it is a large amount of soldiers.

Leave can be denied for ANY reason by a commander, period. And one of the biggest reasons is the all encompassing readiness.

IG complaint(s) will for sure be made, but there is such vast gray area within orders and directives, as well as the UCMJ, that gives a huge berth to Commanding Generals that the IG report will concur the CG in this case is in his lane to do so.

Have an iris/retinal scan, whatever it is. I did a shitload of them to Iraqis in 2008-2009, and it was pretty good at catching the ones we wanted.

It was done to us under the guise of the whole 'building going to a retinal scan being imprinted on our Common Access Cards for swipe access to secure areas'. We knew it was bullshit, but yoU Signed the Motherfucking Contract (USMC for the acronym impaired). So we did it...even though we had a completely different badge to access the NMCC down in the lower levels (if you are intrigued, you can do a Google search yourself, but its pretty boring).

Anyways, I got scanned, along with 23,000 other people and as far as I knew, nothing happened. I certainly never got access by swiping my CAC anywhere (insert jokes here).

I didn’t see or hear of any National Guardsman refusing the order to posture against Americans by protecting the most evil in this country in DC. Officers in my town didn’t have a problem harassing business owners when the city mandated a mask ordinance punishable by a fine up to and including death. All fines are punishable by death. Don’t pay them and get arrested. Resist arrest and get shot. I didn’t hear of any pushing back against the asshole chief we have.

Currently, no coronavirus vaccine is fully approved by the FDA, but three were given emergency use authorization by the agency. The DOD cannot mandate taking the shot unless it's approved by the FDA.

While I do despise all govt institutions as they are all cancerous at this point, the individual American soldier isn’t a part of my frustration nor is the individual officer when I speak of the police.

I do feel like soldiers are tricked into believing that they are serving their country when they are actually serving the politicians and the oligarchs interests. I do think people should find a way to leave their govt paid jobs (any) as they are a gear in the machine that most of us think is corrupt. I do think that if anyone has a friend or family member that is thinking of enlisting today, an intervention is needed. None of us here trust this govt. Why sign your life over to it?

If you are still upset after the clarification well I can’t help you. People get a little too wound up about their job. If someone said something negative about the oilfield guys, I couldn’t care less. People get killed and maimed in this line of work as well. Injuries and death are not specific to the military.
