I was sad to see it was a moderator edit halfway into my pre never mind response.
I am new here and wondering why my post was edited and in such a harsh manner. If I broke any rules I truly apologize. But I was quite surprised to see how my post was edited in such a harsh sense. Is there Something I should know about when this happens? I’m really confused about it and actually quite disappointed to see this happen here.

Likely someone was irritated that you didn’t take the time to read the site rules before you attempted to use the site as your personal swap meet.
Since you made a post that you’ve read the site for years, I find it hard to believe you haven’t seen the very big deal that’s made out of people who haven’t contributed either with posting or financially to use the site for sales and trades.
