Threading a T3X Lite 6.5 Barrel

I have a Tikka T3X Lite rifle in 6.5 CM. The barrel has a 0.630" diameter at the muzzle.

Is it possible to have it threaded for a suppressor? How much of a shoulder do I need for a can or break?

You could thread it 1/2-18 and have plenty of shoulder there for a break or can. I did the same with my T3 Lite in .243, threaded 1/2-28 and use with my Omega. Works great.

Do you direct mount your can or use a QD muzzle device?

Did you mean 1/2-28?

I direct thread mount on the .243 Tikka and other hunting rifles but use ASR mounts on others.

Ok, not a smith at all but You could thread it 5/8-24 for sure. I do not know if the shoulder will be enough. I have a light barrel on one rifle that is threaded 1/2 and only measure .550 at the shoulder and it stops my brake dead.

We thread the T3 Lites 1/2x28
