Note that MR is higher than ML because of port pop. MR is somewhere around halfway between ML and SE on all these due to that.

Funny... Before, the Nomad-LT was testing as one of the quietest suppressors in your tests, now suddenly it's one of the loudest in the last 2 tests... Even louder than the Q Thunder Chicken, which we all know sucks and is loud.

My Nomad-LT is one of the quietest suppressors I've ever heard on my AR in .300 BLK with subs...Even slightly quieter than my new Otter Creek Labs Hydrogen-L...Which is basically just the new version of the PR30L. They're extremely close, but the Nomad-LT edges it out just slightly. You literally only hear the action cycling. I have a hard time believing it's louder than any Q suppressor in any test, regardless of the weapon system or flow regime.

Look at the graph and my two comments, and then think about what the data means, it might make sense.

Look at the ML number, it still suppresses better. The more you trap at the muzzle the louder the SE number will be with gas guns. Since the Q doesn't suppress all that well for its size its good for a gas gun. Makes total sense

If you're using the exact same equipment as you have been this whole time, setup in the same location, same distances, same system, just different hosts, then why is it suddenly that much louder? 13 DB at the shooters ear over a Q Thunder Chicken seems excessive...

Yall have always been extremely transparent and honest, that's why I'm asking... The numbers just spiked my curiosity.

It is still 8 dB better at the muzzle ML, that is why it's louder at MR and SE. It's causing more back pressure so SE and MR will be louder

Makes sense. Thanks for the explanation. Just seemed high for SE, but port pop makes sense. I just had no idea port pop would spike it that high compared to the other readings...Espeically with subs, but I guess it still uses the same amount of gas to cycle the system, so...
