Tikka 6BR Build ?

Getting ready to start ordering parts for my first custom build and kinda stuck at a crossroads. I’m going to be chambering in some sort of 6mm. I’m leaning towards 6br or 6bra but not dead set yet.

On one hand I would like to just work off a tikka action as I’ve got a couple of current tikkas and very happy with them. My only concern is feeding and reliability with this and a short br case. If I go with the tikka would it be better to stick with something like a 6creed for reliability?

I’ve tried searching for tikka 6br builds and potential issues just having a hard time finding any information. I’d hate to have a cpl grand tied up in a build and have reliability issues

The second option is either an going all out and using either an impact or Fuzion action. This will be quite a bit more and I am one of the poors on this site.

I ran a tikka in both a 6bra and 6br. No issues! Fed like butter and two of my rifles I regret selling the most

You could also drop the barreled action in a chassis designed for AICS mags such as a KRG Bravo if the Tikka mags give you issues.

I ran a combo of MDT 6br mags with tuned lips and aics mags with spacer kit and tuned lips

Either will be in a mini chassis or full chassis setup so most likely aics or mdt br mags.

mines smooth as butter.

diy mag mods on a pmag, spacer in the front.. room down the outside of feed lips so it'll fit into bottom of receiver.
