Trying to decide on a folding chassis for a tikka T3X CTR. I've narrowed it down to these 2. Cadex def takes the cake on looks but is a 2-3 month wait and about 1 pound heavier. (4.4 with spigot vs 5.24lb)

Any thoughts/personal experiences?

If you've ever shot 3Gun using a "c-clamp" method over the handguard, the Cadex will feel very natural.

The whiskey 3 Gen 6 with the Enclosed forend is much wider and blocky feeling. But it sits on a bag really good.

You have to add an Arca rail accessory on the Cadex to get a flat base. But they do sell them now . The ergos on the W3 are better at the grip If you're not into wrapping your thumb around the back side , But if you change out the Cadex grip to a true vertical that changes that.

If you plan on slinging these rifles folded you might find that the Cadex is better suited. I believe it's the only one with a flush cup right near the hinge. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that. I've only put together a non-folding W3.
Cadex has better barrel heat mirage control IMO. Cadex can close over the bolt knob if you keep the CTR knob. W3 folds away from the bolt. Giving it more girth when folded
Both are excellent quality.

Molson Golden vs Sam Adams.

The Whiskey 3 has a QD receptacle at the folding mechanism as well.

I personally find the W3/X-ray to be more comfortable to get behind than the Cadexs I've played with.
