Tikka CTR mag options for .223

Does anyone know of a magazine for .223 that works in the CTR? I have an MDT and it’s close, but I have to build it up somehow to work. I tried bending a factory 308 mag and it didn’t work either. Anyone know a mag that fits or with little modification? Thank you.

No, the accurate mag won't work in a factory CTR DBM. The CTR mags and AICS mags are different. Your best bet would be to get one of the DBMs out there that fit into the CTR inlet, but accept AICS magazines (Mountain Tactical, Atlasworx cone to mind). The, run the Accurate mags or MDT mags. I'm not positive, but you may need to file the sides of the MDT mags to fit up into the Tikka inlet, as the factory tikka inlet is narrow.

I don’t know of any magazines themselves that would work. I’ve heard maybe on the MDT mags with some work, but since you’ve tried them already, no dice.

I know Mountain Tactical (Tikka Performance) and Atlasworxs both make a bottom metal that’s supposed to be a drop-in fit for the CTR bottom metal inlet, but are designed for AI-pattern magazines. It’s a more expensive solution, but may work.

I haven’t used either, so I can’t comment on build quality, function, etc.
