Tikka gunsmith

Wanting to build a coyote rifle on a Tikka action and wondering if you guys have a smith recommendation for the Tikka action that is in the northern Colorado or Cheyenne Wy area. Thoughts right now are a 204 ruger using a wilson carbon wrapped barrel to a #4 contour. Will need my manners EH Tikka stock opened up to fit that barrel also. Can always send the stock to manners and have them do it but as for the action and barrel I'd like to say local so I can avoid loosing shit in the mail.

I would just do it yourself..get a prefit barrel,action wrench and barrel vice

pre Fits come chambered and threaded. It’s a tikka so you don’t need to send it in. Buy the blank of you choice and send it to one of the smiths that offer tikka prefits and do it yourself

these guys do a lot of tikka stuff if you send them a barrel they could chamber it for you

or call josh @bohem at Patriot valley see if could do a 204

I’d go pva and redbeard myself but if you want to stick to local region then call mile high shooting, they are in the Denver area and are a big supporter.

So long as your current configuration is a 223rem the biggest part of the puzzle is over since your bolt face is correct for the 204.

Also kinport peak in Idaho. Just had him build me a Tikka 22 creedmoor and it's a hammer.

Black canyon customs or MHSA. Either of them will be able to do what you want. Ones in Denver, the other is just north of Denver in Erie.
