tikka t3 hinged floorplate

is anybody making any kind of "bdl" style bottom metal for the tikka t3? im looking to start a shorty build and im leaning really heavy towards the tikka t3 action, the only issue is im not really wanting a dbm for this rifle.

Not that i am aware of. The factory tikka dbm is pretty good. Not sure about long term durability, but mine have held up good and feeding is slick. Just got a sporter260 in and modded the bolt stop for la use with la mags so seating length isn't dictated by mag length. Got to say the stock on the sporter, while colorful orange and gray, is good looking in person and damn ergonomic

yeah, its looking like the dbm is what you get with the t3 whether you go aftermarket or stock

You have to run a DBM with the tikkas. Because they only make 1 action with different bolts and bolt stops. They rely on the mag to do the feeding work and do not maching the feed lips in the bottom of the action.
