Tikka T3 Varmint Whiskey 3 Chassis in .22-250

I am currently looking at Converting my factory stock Tikka T3 Varmint in .22-250 to the Whiskey 3 Chassis. I am hoping I can utilize the knowledge from the Members of Sniper's Hide Forum to get a solid answer if anyone has attempted this type of build in .22-250?
My other question is what modifications would be needed to be made to the AICS Magazines and or the Tikka Action To have proper feeding of cartridges?




P.S. I have been looking for a chassis like the Whiskey 3 for some time and was starting to get a little discouraged because the majority of aftermarket upgrades or parts are geared towards Remington 700. I was pumped to see other Tikka minded shooters as myself and the great Tikka builds I have seen thus Far on the Sniper's Hide!

AICS metal 308 mags require no mods to fit with anyones chassis or bottom metal.

Only the plastic 223 mags need modded.

You need to do some research on the 22-250 case in AI mags, though, as things may need a little fiddling, even in the Rem 700 platform. The feed lips may need to be played with a little and capacity may be reduced because of the tapered case.

Ordered AICS Magazine up Today so I will do some fiddling once I get it.
