Okay, this may be a dumb question, and I think I asked something like it before, but here goes, let's see if someone can help me out.
Let's say hypothetically, that I have 2 rifles
1. A Tikka chambered in 308 with a 20" barrel
2. A Bergara (or whatever rem clone) short action chambered in 308 with a 20" barrel
Let's assume that both rifles are in the same stock with the same LOP. Is the Tikka's overall length longer due to its being a long action with a stop pin (or however they accomplish the all the same-length actions) ?????????
Or I am missing somethin?
How much longer is it?
I would really appreciate an answer from someone who actually knows.
Thank you!
