looking for a timney trigger for my remington 700 .223 did a quick search and no dice. wondering if anyone know where they have them in stock or any hide vendors that have them. thanks

You can order direct from Timney. Get the 510U model set to whatever pull weight you want. Takes about 10 days to get the trigger to your door.
If you have a Rem 700 I would just get the 510, the 510U was more or less designed to work with Defiance and other custom actions and may not work as well in a 700. 2.5lbs is a good do all weight.
2.5lbs minimum for practical applications. If you're a benchrest shooter you can go lighter but its better to be too heavy than too light.
i have a 517 on mine...it's alright, deff not a jewell or shilen...but, it'll do for now. I have mine set to as low as it can go, and it's still pretty heavy. I'm used to guns in the 2-6oz range...so 1.5lbs feels heavy
