Just purchased a 18' mid length Rainer wylde barell for my Ar 15. Gonna do the install my self. Any tips during the install so I can get the most accuracy. Have a free float hand guard (troy) as well.

Re: Tips for new 223 wylde barrel

Make sure you use some moly grease on the barrel nut threads. Also tighten (snug) and loosen the nut three times before you apply the final torque value.

These measures ensure your barrel extension and barrel nut are properly seated, and as square to the receiver as possible.
