Thinking of ordering a Tipton Best Gun Vise to add to my bench.
Can anyone who actually owns one or has any experience with one of these give me some Pros and Cons?
Thanks in advance for any input.

I've used the ordinary ones at home and in the shop. I like it for mounting scopes. A proper vise with rubber and lead jaw inserts gets used the most. Would only use it for cleaning a rifle if the vise was holding something that I didn't want to remove yet. Can do scopes on vise too, but the Tipton is easy to move somewhere that lets you level and see through a scope across the length of the shop or at the butt shooting table at the range.

I have one. Actually used it today to hold my rifles in place to set zero stop on my nightforce. I like the movable middle piece. It's nice to move it back and forth depending on the rifle I'm cleaning. Overall I'm happy I bought it.

Great cradle for cleaning, minor maintenance. Worth the $80-90 I paid.

I use it for working on my ARs but not in the manner they depict for cleaning. Its easier to separate upper from lower and just clean per usual.

Cleaning R700s it shines.

Only weak part I see is the flip levers to quick tighten the stock vise, I haven't done it but I could see them strip out if you over tighten them.

I'll offer my input. I have one and like it a lot for cleaning my M1As and M1 Garands. However, if you own a tripod and saddle (Hogg or RRS), with bolt guns and ARs, I find it easier to clean them strapped into the tripod. It's solid and I am able to put the rifle at a better height to clean. Just some thing to think about. Since I have made the change, I don't use the Tipton anymore
