Amazing we are not allowed to have opinions, and even in a discussion that is pretty specific we have to say, "I support your right to be play with your bump stock even though it has the potential to hurt me in the long run", meanwhile several of you continue to ignore the unintended consequences already in place months ago.
"For the record: I do not own a bumpstock, oil filter suppressors, sig brace, or anything that skirts the law. I do have @ a dozen stamps and two AIs. I am also all about the freedom to do whatever you want as long as you are not infringing on anyone else’s ability to do the same"
My case in point, here is a third party reading of the proposed bill, reads like it infringes on my freedom.
That language is very complicated. While bump fire stocks will be illegal, so will many other accessories. Worse, it seems like much of the language leaves grey areas open for interpretation.
When you can no longer buy a Gieselle trigger for your AR because it lets you shoot faster, don't complain. Unintended Consequences that none of you righteous defenders will fix writing your already republican congressman.
Hate to break it to you guys, "We do more to support your rights than anything you are currently doing" this site alone promotes this industry and sport beyond any piss ant thing you might have done raising your fist and shouting at the sun. Having to spell out these things should not be a qualifier when you look at our actions and history. All of the sudden we have to qualify bullshit because you are new to the game or us. This site stands in the face of gun control and has never backed down from expressing that. Why am I forced to stand in front of the crowd and cite my bonafides because half of you having issues with comprehension?
What you guys miss, especially you finger pointing idiots, is, I stay in my lane. That is huge fact, I don't go out of my way to give my opinion on bullshit we all know is an issue. Even the NRA posted,
In the days following the shooting, the NRA released a statement, writing that it believes "devices designed to allow semi-automatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."
Maybe I missed the outrage and burning of NRA Cards ? One of 2A Warriors do me a favor and post the picture you took when you burned your membership card?
Excuse me if everything I write here does not meet your standards of excellence but frankly, unitl I see you do something, I will continue to give my opinion. If that runs counter to you, sorry about that, but I am busy looking at the big picture vs some micro agression bullshit.
Might just have to re-instate the long standing rule we had on "No Politics" because clearly many of you don't get it... read the rules and look at the date.
