Range Report Took the girlfriend shooting for the first time.

I took my girlfriend to the range for her first time shooting anything the other day. She shot my FNP-9 9mm, XD-45 .45ACP, AR-15 in 5.56 along with the .22 conversion, and my .308 Savage 10FCP. She did really good, escpecially with the .308. She pretty much surprised me with the group she shot being the first time she has shot the rifle.

5 round group from 100 yards with a Savage 10FCP .308 firing 168g SMK:

She really like the AR though... (w/ the .22 conversion & the grip pod)

With the FNP-9

She's already asking me when we're going next

I know. We got to the range and I realized I didn't throw the eye pro in the range bag even though they were sitting right next to the ear pros. She tried my percsription oakleys, but it didn't do so well seeing how I'm blind.

Think I will use this thread to try to get my wife to go shooting with me. Hold on to that one, she's a keeper.

My girlfriend used to go shooting with me all the time, then I married her. Not so much anymore.

lol... not quite... she had the ring on another finger, but it was pinching her when she was shooting the pistols.

she also wanted to learn to clean the guns after we went shooting and wanted to learn how to re-load... I think I'm gonna keep her around for awhile
