Rifle Scopes Torque specs - Athlon Cronus BTR HD 4.5-29x56

Hi guys. Have anyone talked to Athlon about torque specs for this scope? I cant find any info.

I would like the torque specs for the mount rings ( i am using a one piece Spuhr ), and if possible also the specs for the 3 small zero stop screws under the turret cap.

Use mount recommended torque.

The zero stop screws spec is little girl finger tight

I got a answer from Athlon. "18-20 sq" for the rings ( think they mean "in lb"? ) and no specifik for the zero stop screws.

helpful. i am using contessa rings and can find NO torque settings anywhere even from seller-euro optic. anybody have any #s? been using 20" lbs.

Yes, inch lbs. I have that scope, it's torqued at 18 in lbs

When I had my Cronus BTR, it was mounted in ARC M10 rings. The single top screws I torqued to around 32-35 in/lbs with zero ill effect. If I would’ve used more traditional 4 screw rings, 18-20 in/lbs torque. For the zero stop screws, just finger tight with the long side of an Allen key.

Yup, you can really torque the hell out of those M10’s. For me, I just found that the 32-35ish in/lbs worked great. Now, on my Gen2 Razor I have them torqued a little more... around 42 in/lbs if I remember correctly.
