Hey guys, looking at my first suppressor, would like some feedback.

I am wanting one hearing safe, doesnt need to be the quietest on the market but if it was thats cool. I really want one that is also durable and built rugged. So far I like the sig srd45, titanium and stainless steel build seems solid, and if I wanted to go to 9 I could get pistons from the srd9. I was interested in the tirant, but it seems the baffles are made of aluminium.

For cleaning I want to use my sonic cleaner, but I read somewhere that sonic cleaning is not good for titanium, is it fine for steel baffles?

If there is anything besides the sig suppressor I should look at I am totally open to it, I would like to get one before any election panic sets in.

I would get the wolfman if you plan on suppressing pistol cal carbines or look at the obsidian 9 (very 'rugged' and has steel baffles). I think a great second can would be a 22lr since they are super easy to suppress and not too expensive either

If you want tough I can't think of anything tougher than the Crux cans.

You can shoot cheytac rounds through their pistol suppressors.

They have mixed reputation on the board here, but popular in Texas.

I've got a rugged obsidian 9. It's nice but I totally think pistol cans are a novelty now. If you don't have any, get a rifle can first. Much more utilitarian.

Not if your shooting an AR9mm with 65rd Glock mags loaded with 165gr subs.... my son and I fight over it every time we go to the range...

I have a Rugged Obsidian 9 and highly recommend it, but if I didn't have any suppressors and was in the market right now I'd seriously consider the promotion Griffin is running right now. Pick up a Griffin Revolution 9 and add the Resistance 22M for $125. You will want a rimfire can, I promise.

All this talk about how you are really going to want a .22lr can is. . .
Absolutely true. I bought a 30 cal can, and then I was able to try my friend’s rim fire can the following Saturday. I went back to my LGS the next business day and ordered a Spectre II.
I am waiting on a Dead Air Ghost-M, but I heard their new Wolfman is supposed to be a better can, durability-wise. (They released it shortly after I ordered the Wolfman)
Good luck, and I look forward to seeing which way you go.

I like my Tirant M, because you can run it short for an MP5, MPX and run full sized for pistols. Most people will never shoot out their cans. I shoot every weekend pretty high round count for the last 8 years and none of my cans are dead. YMMV
