I am getting ready to buy a 2013 Toyota crew max and would like to put a small lift with new tires and wheels. Along with some other small upgrades.

I thought I would see if any of you have one and wouldn't mind to post some pics along with what you have done to it.

I did a 3/1 level kit, 295/70r18 (34.5x11.50) with +18 offset wheels, TRD exhaust, toyota steps and de-badged. Get a set of husky weatherbeater floor liners to, they are awesome. If you want to debadge, I'd work it into the deal when buying. My next mod will be black head light mod (bhlm). If you really want a killer truck, get the supercharger.

Just get the spacers. There are a lot of different brands out there. I used supreme suspensions. When you get it realigned ask them to set camber as close to 0 as possible. Preferably 0.1º positive.

Check out tundratalkdotnet. There are plenty of ideas there and you can generally get the answers you need without joining.
Google tundra and plenty more will show up.

De badging is easy, that's the first thing I do when I get a new truck. Get an Eraser Wheel made by 3M to remove the sticky shit. Use light fishing line to cut the badges off. Wax. Done.

I will check out those other sites. My biggest thing is trying to figure out wheel tire combination. I want a offset that will allow the tires to clear and not stick out to far. I currently have a tacoma and the tires stick out pretty far. I love the way it looks but as soon as I hit gravel or mud the entire truck is covered to the point I cant even see out the side windows.

I have an 01 cummins and can't bring myself to sell it. Only problem I have had is slightly cracked dash which they are known for, window off track and one of the rear doors wouldn't open. window and door fixed cheap and I don't care about little cracks in the dash by the windshield. Got 140k on it and hope to get 140 more.

I have a 96 12 valve with 175000 it has never been work on. I also have a 97 12 valve its pushing 750 hp. it has 340000 on it. All I have had to fix on it is some tierod ends and pitman arm. The 96 gets 23 MPG the 97 18 MPG. Both are extended cab 4X4s

My +18 offset with 11.50 wide terragrapplers stick out about 1.5" to the sidewall. +35 will be a good match for an 11.50 wide tire.

Jeez guys, he's buying a Tundra. Not looking for info on Fords, Dodges, Yugos, what kind of cleaning solvent to use, or why mermaids don't have algae in their hair.

OP, I'd stick with the front end leveling kit and I'd add wheel well flares to help keep it clean. The supercharger is indeed awesome, but ungodly expensive and you have to run super unleaded.

Disclaimer: Although I worked as a Toyota Service Writer for 10 years and was Master Certified, I may have no idea what I'm talking about.

Ok. I'm a Tundra enthusiast. I have a 12 limited CM, 4x4. Has a procomp 6 inch lift with 20 inch Bmf, wrapped in Nitto train grapplers, 35/12.5/r20. I had an 11 with 305/50r20 and 3 inch level. I used Bilstein 5100 series and it was perfect man. No spacers, just put fronts on highest perch. Gave her 3 inch level. Slope front to back with 5100 all around was less than 1/4 inch.

Now having said that, I like my lift better. Took a hit in mileage, at first, until I slapped in they hypertech speedo calibrator module. Now I'm back into normal mileage and normal shift points. My shocks in rear are procomp es9000 and stockers up front with spacer. Fixing to change all that with ICONs all around.

If you're looking at in intake I suggest the volant power core, and if exhaust, the trd true dual. That's what I run and its mean but not excessive. Had a magna flo before and hated it.

Definately chuck your high and low bulbs, get some sylvania ultra stars, much better light. Man I could go on and on.

You can get the super charger and fit kid for 6k or so, look around online and thru vendors on tundrasolutions.com. But, if you're an ffv, that dream is gone. Also, premium over other grades really is a nominal increase over a tank. If you can afford to super charge the pump ain't shit.

Figure out what size you want to run and go from there. Not many companies make a 295/70r18. A mud tire will also stick out a bit more than an AT since the tread extends to the sidewall.

I take it you've never used the spacers before. There is nothing wrong with them, ask the thousands who use them. I don't see how you really benefit from the 5100's. You get a stiffer ride and settling over time. Plus your suspension angles are the same as running a spacer. That is unless you change out the control arms. Which you can also do with the spacer.

Im going with XD809 18x9 with +18 offset and mickey thompson MTZ's the shop is going to have 33x12.50x18 and 35x12.50x18 there for me to try. Im not sure if they are actually called 33's and 35's but thats what they refereed to them as.

You know jackola. The 5100s don't settle out and are valved specific. Plus they keep your angles in OEM. Do more research, your fu is off. The rears allow for an inch block as well if you want more out of the rear. Front has 3 positions to put height at and include new perches. Can grab all four from online less than 350. Way better than a spacer.

Icons are the best shock hands down for a bolt in application for Tundras and Toyotas in general. I am talking a no fab deal strictly bolt in. I have a 2002 and I put in Donahoes back before Icon was around (Icon was Donahoe before all the BS happened with Kreg) The Icons are awesome, mine probably need a rebuild but dont feel like they need one. I then put in some Bilstein 5100's I believe. Then I slapped on some 33s and have been around Baja and the local race courses in Barstow/Lucerne Vallley and the shocks performed awesome for what they are.

Well I guess im going with xd808 20x9 with +18offset with 305/55r20 NittoTrail Grappler M/T's. I was going to stick with 18's but couldn't find the correct offset. I hope these don't rub and stick out to far.

Well I will keep this short......

My dad has a Tundra and I spent a few days in it deciding if I like it. Its a really nice truck, but by the time you add all the TRD items to make it "off road" you spend $10,000.
The Rock Edition has wheels and tires and thats all I really can see on it. I drove it and it was nice but its no where near a Raptor for off road use. The Raptor has a huge tuned Fox suspension under it from the factory.
It has 4 aux switches for lights that are pre wired in. It has 34" tires, 410hp and equal torque. Its no race truck but its plenty quick and it can tow up to 10k. From the factory, there is no truck like it. You dont have to do a thing to it to get it off road and it be more capable then most highly upgraded trucks. It has hill decent mode, off road mode, front and rear cameras and did I mention the suspension? I have taken gravel roads at 60mph and it feels like Im on the interstate.

To have such attributes to go off road you would think it would suck on road, wrong. Besides gas mileage being sub par (6.2L engine) it rides like a cadillac and handles just as well for a big tall truck. Factory stance is higher then anything else and with the perch system you can raise the front to be level with the rear and enhance your ground clearance up front. It's just a badass truck and it was everything I wanted in a truck right off the showroom floor. I only tinted the windows and leveled the front to start. After I got some miles on it I went ahead and added the Rigid Light package and a ADD front bumper. This makes it more then capable off road of handling about anything. Its been in serious mud, snow, horrible storms and one bad ice storm. I was in Missouri last year when the huge snow storm hit. Most people had wrecked or pulled over. I was going right along at 70 with no issues.

I love the truck, when it wears out I will be getting another one for sure. That Roush supercharger package sure sounds appealing! :D
