Toyota rocks the industry with hydrogen fuel cell driven semi's

Neoplan bus plant built hydrogen busses for some government funded project around 1990. The fuel systems were wildly impractical, unreliable, and expensive. The hydrogen in the tanks had to be at 5k PSI or something like that. The guy who ran the project said, something to the effect of, they will never see the road, but we get paid to build them.
 
Waiting to see the first time one of these semi-trucks hauling trailer full of XYZ crashes with another semi hauling hazardous/ flammable material . Wonder how the local FD is setting up a safe zone?
 
Almost as dumb as electric cars being stated to "zero emissions" when over 60% of the electricity sold in the USA is made using coal or natural gas.
