I've spent way too long researching this combo and am getting cross-eyed. I thought I had a winner with the Aadmount, but turns out the 30mm version fits a TPAL, but not the 34mm version (30mm=3" between rings, 34mm=2.5" between rings for S&B scopes). Hopefully SWFA will be kind enough for a return! But, I'm back to the drawing board.
I'm looking for a 1-piece mount with 20moa built in, 1.5" high minimum, around 3" between the rings to fit the TPAL, and 34mm rings. I don't really care if it's quick dismount or not, as long as it's stable. I'm looking to do some long range shooting with this setup.
My scope is a USO SN3 5-25x 58mm TPAL with 34mm tube. I have been playing with where the scope should be and this looks ideal for me.
I can't go less than 1.5" high mostly due to having pudgy hamhock fingers and where the charging handle is located.
LaRue LT111 would work, but it is 0MOA. Before I spend this much cash on a mount, I don't want to find out later on that it's my limitation when shooting long range.
American Defense AD-RECON-SW has the same issue for me of 0MOA
GDI P-ROM L-Model looks like it will work, but it's fairly pricey (even with the initial discount) and has an 8-10 week lead according to the website. I'd like to be shooting sometime in January.
Everything else I've found requires a 20moa riser rail and separate rings. This just feels overly complicated to me with too many things to work loose or shift around. Am I being unreasonable in this thought?
What mounts have I missed?
