Hunting & Fishing Training/Competition Validation

This is why I have trained and competed. All that is fun and enjoyable, but this is IT!

575 yards, one and done, from a tripod and bag supported position. He was bedded and all I could see was his head and neck. Wind was a steady 8mph.

Ranged him with my Sig 2400 BDX linked to my Garmin 701 that spit out my dope. Shot him with my 7 Sherman Short mag, 180 vld doing 2970.

That's awesome, congrats. I love that country...took 2 Sitka Blacktail on Sitkalidak Island (southern Kodiak) in 2016. I want to go back.

If I never encounter another Alder stand I'll be totally fine though. Those things are brutal.
