Movie Theater Transformers 3

Re: Transformers 3

Looking forward to this movie coming out. I enjoyed the first 2 and the 3rd one is the best of them all. Plus, watching it with my 4yr old will be great. I tried to show him the old school Transformers cartoons that come out and he didn't know who any of the characters were. Only 3 more months!!!

Re: Transformers 3

I'm a big transformer fan.. I can't wait.. I hope it is dark, the second one was a little iffy with all the bs jokes and nonsense going on.. I was pissed they knocked off Devastator so quick too..

I hope in the new movie the Transformer I been seeing isn't Unicron, if it is I will be pissed. Unicron is the size of a whole planet, and he his not some small ass transformer like the previews are making this new transfomer out to be.

Also, lets bring in Galvatron..

nothing wrong with more transformer movies. </div></div>

Nope, I would be down for more movies, but from what I heard this is the last one Mr. Bay is directing. That could change though, as well as, having someone else direct it..

Optimus Prime with those Jet stacks on the side of him, make him look like Ultra Magnus..

Re: Transformers 3

I tell you what, from the trailers this looks pretty good. I've been a fan since the Gen 1 series back in the 80s growing up. Seeing this one will be awesome. I saw the first a few times in theaters and got to see the second on my 4 day pass before going across the pond. That was also my son's first movie in the theater and the third will be his second (he's almost 3). That little guy loves Transformers almost as much as I do.

Re: Transformers 3

Yep, more pointless sequels; almost as bad as James Bond...

Lookin' forward...

Fox is..., well..., a fox. She can come and go, I like rest of the experience just fine...

Re: Transformers 3

I must admit, when I first watched the trailer I was excited... and then I see a transformer and I was dissapointed.

I thought it was going to be a cool moon landing conspiracy movie... but no

Re: Transformers 3

I just spent 20 min. looking at all the trailers. I am excited. I hate to refer back to my son again but " dad that looks sweet." yes it does,is all i could say. We'll be catching it as soon as it comes out.

Re: Transformers 3

Looks like more of the same action, can't go too wrong with that, though I note they have a new token blond - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

It's Sentinel Prime that lives on the surface of the moon. He is Optimus' mentor through the early years. I remember some of it from when I was a wee little one. My 7 yr old has all the old Xfmr dvd's so I'm forced to watch them all OVER & OVER....but there's nothing like being a kid again all over again with the youngins

Re: Transformers 3

Liked the first one. The second went a little over the top with destruction and CGI but was still good. This one, he replaces megan fox with a Blonde so the characters only similarities are their huge fake looking lips. And on top of that it looks like ole Michael Bay is trying to top Avatar with the special effects and destruction. I thought he would calm down after transformers 2, which he stated he wasn't going to go that big. Unless it sparks Linkin Park to quit being gay and go back to their original ways, i just can't get into this one.

Re: Transformers 3

Just got back from seeing it and I give it a big thumbs up. Well done, and tons of Magpul furniture to boot. Does anyone know what type of scope reticle was flashed up for that brief instant when they were showing the snipers? It had a vertical line coming down from the top to a + sign in the middle with BDC lines strait down and ones on the left and right sloping away. Might have been lines laterally in the middle. I'm trying to find a similar reticle for a scope.

Re: Transformers 3

I agree, entertaining action, but not sure if it is worth ten bucks....<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: wakerider017</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Not super excited about it, but I'll probably end up seeing it.

I might wait for it to come to DVD this time though. </div></div>

No your company didn't. Transformers are created by Energion sourced from Energion cubes, Duh...

Re: Transformers 3

I couldn't wait to get out of the theater. Don't see it in 3D. That is a waste of money. Way too long, and the chick sucked as an actor, I'm sorry to say. The constant explaining why Megan fox was there was annoying also.
